  From the sports zone of Stanghe (976 m) follow the route along the brook in the direction of the valley to the toll house (for a fee), then with a slight incline you will reach the entrance to the gorge, and along with it, your first views at dizzy heights (there is a marble panel inscribed with details of the construction and maintenance of the structure). Now continue to the right, then very soon left over a sturdy footbridge over the swirling brook and ascend through the Gilfenklamm gorge right up to the upper end, then through a forested area, which is partly flat, continue to Jaufensteg (1,150m; stop, refreshments served) via Ratschinger Straße street. Return route back through the gorge.
