  From the center of Villandro (880m) at the Tourist Information Office, (panoramic viewing boards) follow the flat and even village road to the southern part of the village and there take the left fork from Hauptstraße street where the Keschtnweg trail (separate signed) leads to the lower lying houses and from there on paths through fields downwards through dense mixed forests to Mühlbachgraben ditch. From there the Keschtnweg leads southwards through fields, slightly uphill to the hamlet of S. Maurizio/Sauders (780m; resting places, refreshments served). On the way back, follow the village road, which curves upwards through the settlement to the higher lying Sprafolhof farm (810m), where the old Kirchsteig trail begins, and branches of northwards through the forest and through two river trenches, upwards to Villandro.
