Children, in particular, will have fun on this walk. Especially because of “Rossy Park“ petting farm near the 6-seater gondola lift mountain station. Here, rabbits hop and jump freely, miniature goats play with sheep and you can stroke the long-maned ponies. Once a week, in the afternoon, at the cable car mountain station there is lama trekking, where children can guide these good-natured animals themselves.

    Monte Cavallo|Rosskopf cable car mountain station (1,860m)

    From the Monte Cavallo gondola mountain station (1,806m), route no. 19 ascends northward to Kastellacke biotope (1,930m) and its small sheltered lake. Route no. 24/19A via Sterzinger Haus hut also leads there. On the northern slopes of Rosskopf peak, lightly descending westward on route no. 19A, you will reach the opposite, idyllic mountain village of Vallmigalm (1,814m; refreshments served). Return route no. 34A leads even higher up on the northern slopes, where you cross the ridge on the Stock (2,001m; highest point of the route) to Sterzinger Haus (1,930m). Taking route no. 24 via Sternhütte mountain hut (2,030m) you will reach Monte Cavallo gondola mountain station.
