  From Zumis parking lot (1,725m; mountain road from Rio Pusteria via S. Benedetto, local bus service) follow the Almstraße pasture street eastward, ascending slightly, which forks left after a few hundred steps. Here, the so-called “Confinweg“ trail no. 4, leads away from Almstraße as a pleasant walk through a pine forest which ascend slightly to Zumisalm mountain pasture (1,844m), then after a small ridge to Ronerhütte hut (1;832m; mountain tavern). Return route suggestion: From Ronerhütte south on Almweg trail no. 3B/14 to the area around Tschafelle Alm pasture (1,770m), in a south-westerly direction on route no. 14 down to the high forest, there stay left on a wide footpath to Gschlorerhof farm (1,618m). From there westward on Höfestraße street, follow the valley inlet to Villpederhof farm (1,637m). Continue ascending on the asphalted Höfestraße and after two bends you will reach Zumis parking lot.
