  From Adlerbrücke bridge (568m, panoramic image) follow Archeoweg trail no. 10. The trail leads left, ascending across Elvaser Straße street. At the fork in the road, take the paved path on the right, follow this up until the second crossing of Elvaser Straße street. Trail no. 10 leads through the settlement then left through orchards and pine forests, then steeply through vineyards to the parking lot (720m) at Buschenschank Gugger tavern. There, take trail no.1 (signposts), northward on field paths and you will come to an interesting model of a Roman palisade. At the next fork, a detour leads left (indications) to a Roman lookout tower. There are also information boards with archeological details. Return to the fork, and follow the agricultural road northward to the center of the village of Elvas (814m). Once arrived at Elvaser Straße street, trail no. 2 leads left (indications) to the church and then immediately below the meadow (viewing point) to protruding rocks with ancient grooves. There are some reproductions of Roman chariots. After crossing Elvaser Straße street, trail no. 2 leads through the forest, then down through fields, bends left and runs for a long stretch through vineyards to the south. At a small parking lot on Elvaser Straße, at the fork, take the right footpath no. 2, which leads to the Costa d'Elvas settlement and then ascends to the starting point.
