The “Pfeifer-Huisele-Weg“ trail leads from Racines di Dentro via the Ratschinger Talweg valley trail to the birthplace of the legendary Pfeifer Huisele and then at the end of the valley, it ckimbs further up to Butsee lake. In the footsteps of Till Eulenspiegel as he rode his donkey through the valleys and over the mountains. 10 information boards along the way relate the Pfeifer-Huisele sagas.

    Pfeifer-Huisele-Weg trail begins at Larchof form in Racines di Dentro (1,356m). On the Ratschinger Talweg valley trail, also known as “Barfußweg“ (signposted) the route leads towards the valley and to the hamlet of Vallettina (1,482m, stop). Almweg pasture trail no. 12 leads first through the forest, then ascends more steeply through pastures to the beautifully located Klammalm mountain hut (1,925m; refreshments served). Follow path no. 12 westward through meadows to a small hollow with the Butsee lake (2,346m). Descent is by the same route.
