  Valcroce, cableway mountain station (2,050 m)
  
  From the cableway mountain station Valcroce (2,050m; indications) follow the wide trail no. 7/30 to the tree line, then turn right and continue up the ski slopes along trail no. 7. Continue on the well-defined trail to the Schönjöchl slopes on the Schönjöchl Sattel ridge (2,250m) and along the ski slopes to the Plosehütte hut (2,446m; refreshments served). From the hut, trail no. 6 continues north along a field road, past a few buildings up to the summit of the Telegraph (2,486m). The trail passes a somewhat rocky northern ridge descending to Leonharder Wetterkreuz summit cross (2,365m) entering the Plosescharte ridge (2,219m). Heading across the western slope along a narrow path, the trail joins up with a wider path leading to the Ochsenalm mountain hut (2,085m; refreshments served). To return, follow the timberline along the almost flat Bressanone High Mountain Trail no. 30, partly through a pine forest down to the cableway mountain station.
