Tour to the Ifinger Peak - Description

At an elevation of 2,581 m, the Ifinger is Schenna/Scena local mountain. The peak offers a fantastic panorama. Plenty of mountain experience, sure-footedness, a good head for heights, and via ferrata equipment are required as the ascent to the peak includes a via ferrata.

Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran/Merano - Bolzano/Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd/Merano Sud and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling/Avelengo. Two possibilities to reach the summit station: parking place in Naiftal/Val di Nova in Meran, ascent with the Merano 2000 funicular parking place in Falzeben in Hafling, ascent with the Falzeben cable car
