Surroundings You may find our hotel in Kiens, 10kms from Bruneck, in the spectacular Puster valley. As we are located in the heart of the extremely popular Kronplatz holiday region, our hotel is the ideal place to spend an amazing an unforgettable holiday. Our house lies in the center of Kiens (835 meters above sea level), at the edge of the woods. Owing to our excellent location, you may find shops and stores, as well as fields and the forest nearby. The road to our house is a blind alley; therefore you will not have any issues with traffic. In fact, the little Grünbach stream flows close by, and you can easily hear the rush of water. If you prefer such natural “music” while sunbathing, we recommend our terrace, and our wonderful lawn. Rooms Enjoy your accommodation and relaxing sleep during the holiday. Our homely and delightful rooms invite you to sojourn and relax at the hotel. Sauna While in our sauna you can simply transform your working days into holidays. You can sit back in the pleasant warmth of the sauna and invigorate your mind and soul. Our sauna is at your service during the predetermined operating hours (fee included in the booking price) or on prior reservation for extended hours of service. Following the sauna, you may refresh yourself with freezing cold water at the massage shower, and inhale the fresh air of the South Tyrolean Alps while at rest in our relaxing chambers. Sauna towels are free of charge. Culinary Holidays and pleasant meals go together, and we are happy to satisfy you. In the morning we welcome you with an abundant breakfast buffet, including the best culinary delights and the healthiest cereals. At the evening we serve you, besides the various salad- and vegetable buffet, with typical Puster valley and South Tyrolean dishes, Italian treats, and international delicacies. Pleasant food, good wine, and a social environment are central to a satisfying holiday. Enjoy your meal in our light and friendly dining room, and in the comfortable atmosphere of our wooden paneled Tyrolean Stübele. Café / Bowling Lanes You may find high quality drinks of any sort at our comfortable café, and at our four, fully automated bowling lanes you can have a good time, and relax. Our café offers you a wide variety of products: we serve excellent South Tyrolean wines, as well as native Austrian and international alcoholic beverages. Furthermore, you may choose from our ice cream or different sweet- and spicy snacks, at any time. Our house is also equipped with four, fully automatic asphalt bowling lanes. You may use the asphalt lanes at any occasion with prior reservation. You do not need specials shoes at the lanes, and are able to easily enjoy your game in gym shoes. Also, you are served with the variety of drinks and snacks available at the café, as well. Summer Holidays Whether you prefer sports in the mountains, or you are a fan of nature, we offer you the best circumstances so that you can pursue your favorite sports. Wanderers and mountain bikers head for the surrounding peaks, while those who seek adventure can challenge their skills at climbing, canyoning, rafting or paragliding. But if you prefer horses, golf, running, Nordic walking or the natural habitat, you may have it all in Kiens. Winter Holidays When you plan to spend an active holiday at Kronplatz, you are looking forward to wonderful skiing areas, fantastic routes for ski touring and snow shoe wandering, excellent cross-country ski runs, sledge- and ice stock courses, ice skating areas and a lot more. Numerous waterfalls can be used as ice climbing spots. At Welsberg and St. Virgil at Enneberg you can have fun at the ice climbing tower. If you are a fan of horses you will definitely enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh trip through the snow covered landscape.
