Hotel Lagació
Born of a dream, refined by tradition and a natural sense of beauty
If we feel good, so will our guests. This is why, in creating the new Lagació Mountain Residence, we have given first priority to values we cherish most. Values that have a decisive impact on our way of life and inspire our day-to-day activities:
Committed to naturalness
What a joy to draw on the wealth of resources offered by Nature! She gives us shelter, sets our minds at ease, makes us feel at home. And she has been the true architect of our Mountain Residence: In building it as a standard A certified CasaClima we have set our sights high. All the materials around you come from local sources: richly scented timber – larch, Swiss pine and spruce -, soft loden and linen fabrics, natural slate and loam. For breakfast we serve only unadulterated South Tyrolean produce. And in our LA PALSA wellness area, beauty treatments with Dr. Hauschka’s cosmetics offer the most natural path to recreation and wellbeing.
True to Alta Badia’s traditions
Get the feel of Ladin culture and traditions and the natural charm of its people. Life amongst the harsh and craggy mountains has left its mark on us and accounts for the intimate relationship between man and nature. We are deeply committed to running counter to the hectic lifestyle of our day and age, to stopping short and turning to our roots – without indulging in nostalgic feelings or cheap romanticism. We are proud of our Ladin cultural heritage and our language and will be glad to share them with you.
Inspired by the Dolomites
Nature has been generous to us, and we know it. It is only natural, then, that we should see this mountain paradise – made a World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO – as an example we ought to follow. At the Lagació Mountain Residence we take you on a journey through the mystical world of legend, we show you finds of pre-historic fossils from the Dolomite region and introduce you to the impressive history of our landmark mountain, Lagazuoi.
