It was in 1968 when Sepl, the grandfather of the current owner Gustav, built a small guesthouse with a bar and restaurant next to the first chairlift in San Cassiano, christening it after the name of one enchanting meadow nearby: ‘Störes’. Only a few years later, the chairlift was moved and the lift building became part of the hotel. Their son Engl and his wife Erika took over the Störes and ran it with great passion and diligence, until it was passed on to Gustav and his wife Esther, who are the current managers. After several renovations, since 2017 the Störes has been shining with new splendour and is the perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet and for adventurers in Val Badia. Our Hotel Störes is located in a quiet position at 1,535 m above sea level in San Cassiano, just 400 m from the village centre and 250 m from the cable car.
