The Meranea holiday apartment is located in Maia Alta, the villa quarter of Merano-Meran. The local centre can quickly be reached on foot, while Merano-Meran is some 25 minutes’ walk away. The holiday apartment is on the top floor of a residential building in a former castle park, in a quiet and sunny location surrounded by magnificent old trees. The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, Rametz Castle with its winery, the Maia “Waalweg” (a path along the ancient local irrigation channel) and the valley station of the cable car to the Merano 2000 ski area are all in close proximity and make wonderful destinations for outings. Your hostess delights in making her guests feel at home and they are thus greeted on arrival with a basket of fresh apples and a decent drop of wine from her own production – a great start to a great holiday! Guests of the Meranea appreciate its fine-quality furnishings, unique views and the closeness to the Mediterranean atmosphere of the spa town of Merano-Meran.
