The Mitterhof is owned by the von Zieglauer family, an old family of pharmacists from Bruneck. The farm was run as a dairy farm until 2002. Today, organic farming is practised, mainly the cultivation of forgotten vegetables such as Jerusalem artichokes, tuberous cistus, mashua, parsley root and similar.
