There is always a lot of work on the farm: approx. 18 cows have to be milked and taken care of, the young cattle and the ox have to be brought to the pasture, a dozen chickens are pawing around, the pigs are happy about fresh grass and the hunting dogs are waiting to be run . Franz & the sons are busy with woodwork in winter and there is a lot to do outdoors in summer anyway: the hay work calls, the garden has to be weeded and the vineyard worked. In late summer we are always happy to collect fresh mushrooms (chanterelles, porcini & men's mushrooms, parasols) in our forest. In the fall it's time to swim, the so-called grape harvest and of course chestnut picking.

In winter 2011/2012 we started to renovate our old farmhouse. We are very happy with the result. The outer walls and some inner walls have been preserved. Wooden ceilings were drawn in and the whole house was renovated in a sustainable and original way.
