In the 1930s, the butcher Daniel Platzer from Stilfs acquired a plot of land from the Angerer family's Posthotel on Suldenstrasse in the centre of the village. When the butcher's shop was built, the idea of a holiday guesthouse was already in mind and the building was designed accordingly. At that time, the Villa Anna had 14 rooms and room for 25 people. Of course, the guests benefited from the in-house butcher's shop.
Until 1993, the Villa Anna was run by Hedwig Platzer, who is now 84 years old.


Now, after 30 years of vacancy and two years of extensive renovation with great attention to detail, the Villa Anna awakens in full freshness. Four new, very different and spacious flats for one to seven people will be available in the village centre of Sulden from 2023.
