Weingartnerhof
Our farm is located at an altitude of 800 meters in Glaning, a fraction of the municipality of Jenesien. As the name suggests, it is a wine-growing farm. The farm also includes a meadow on the Salten, where there is a small alpine hut.
On our Weingartnerhof, we are currently cultivating 5 different grape varieties on the sun-drenched slopes: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, and Vernatsch.
In the evening, you can relax on the cozy covered balcony and enjoy the magnificent sunset view. From the Rosengarten to the Latemar, on to the Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn, or across orchards and vineyards to the Überetsch... The beautiful nature surrounding you is simply breathtaking and captivating!
Our two holiday apartments consist of a bedroom, a kitchen-living room, and a bathroom. Additionally, both apartments have a covered and separate balcony where you can enjoy the magnificent view. The open terrace in front of the house is available to all our guests for cozy gatherings.
There are numerous attractions to discover in the surrounding area, such as the Martinsweg in Glaning, the Sagenweg on the Salten, Greifenstein Castle, and many more.
You have the option to drive to the city of Bozen for shopping (less than a 10-minute drive) or to the village of Jenesien (about 7 km away), where you can find all the necessary groceries.
Since we are not directly connected to the public transportation network, you can drive to the nearest bus stop in 3 minutes, park your car there for free, and then comfortably continue to Bozen or Jenesien by public bus. With the Bozen Card, you will have extensive access to numerous famous attractions, such as the Messner Mountain Museum at Castle Siegmundskron, the "Ötzi Museum," and many more.
