29nd Alta Pusteria InternationalChoirFestival: Indoor concert in Welsberg
About the event
The Alta Pusteria International Choral Festival is a non-competitive choral event that takes place in one of the most beautiful areas of the entire Alpine range, located at the foot of the Dolomites on the border between Italy and Austria. Born in 1998, in twenty-eight editions the Festival has recorded the presence of over 1,400 choirs from 52 countries. The program includes about sixty performances divided into real concerts, Open Air Reviews and Meeting Days, in which each participating choir can freely perform its repertoire. The variety of the locations together with the extremely rich repertoire presented by the participating choirs make this event not only one of the most spectacular international choral festivals but also a unique opportunity of mutual and fruitful exchange between different musical cultures. Concerts in Welsberg: Thursday, 11 June, Friday, 12 June and Saturday, 13 June at 9.00 pm at the Paul Troger Cultural Center. Free entry.
