The trumpeter from Bolzano presents his new project, Fly Poop Project, as follows: When I compose a piece, I usually write the melody, chord symbols and a basic bass line, leaving the musicians free to interpret, enrich or omit whatever they consider unnecessary. In the end, as Mozart himself is said to have remarked,‘notes are just fly poop on the stave’; they are merely an abstract outline to follow in order to create real music.
