Bolzano Festival Bozen 2026 - Chamber Music

Hotels can, in some ways, seem like impersonal places of passage, far removed from the everyday life of a city's residents. Not so the Parkhotel Laurin! The historic Art Nouveau hotel, built in 1910 just steps from the station and the old town of Bolzano, is a silent witness to more than a century of history. German princes and the Viennese imperial family once passed through its rooms. In 1937, Benito Mussolini and King Vittorio Emanuele sat down to dinner there, followed later by the Dalai Lama, Chuck Berry, Wim Wenders, Vasco Rossi and many others.



In its elegant lounge, young talents from the European Union Youth Orchestra once again bring their instruments this year, performing in small groups a refined chamber music programme: what better setting to hear scores conceived precisely for small halls and bourgeois drawing rooms?
