About the event
Music Hub Concert: South Tyrolean young talents and EUYO musicians at Semirurali Park
The Music Hub project brings to the summer stage of Semirurali Park a concert uniting South Tyrol's music schools with musicians from the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), conducted by Nicolò Umberto Foron.
The provincial capital has been home for decades to two of the world's most important youth orchestras, and the motto "music and youth" has taken on new shades of meaning over the years. Alongside talents from Europe's leading academies, local young musicians also find their place in the spotlight here. Music Hub is, in this sense, an unprecedented training project: students from South Tyrol's music schools sit side by side with young EUYO musicians in a workshop preparing the concert, bringing local talent together with international excellence.
Programme:
Johannes Brahms – Hungarian Dance No. 1
Antonín Dvořák – Cello Concerto, I. Allegro
Ludwig van Beethoven – Symphony No. 8, I. Allegro vivace e con brio
Georges Bizet – L'Arlésienne Suite No. 2, Farandole
Antonio Vivaldi – The Four Seasons, Summer
Free admission
In case of rain or extreme heat, the concert will take place at the Stadttheater in Piazza Verdi, Bolzano.
