About the event

Experience pure nature at the Carezza Family Bike & Hike Day under the Rosengarten. Perfect for families with diverse biking and hiking routes.
On Sunday, 14 June and Sunday, 20 September 2026, the Niger road at the foot of the Rosengarten is reserved entirely for cyclists, hikers and families. From 08:30 to 16:00, the road is closed to cars and motorbikes, becoming a traffic-free experience of nature and enjoyment in the heart of the Dolomites. The lifts from Nova Levante and Tires provide easy and sustainable access to the starting point, while mountain huts along the route invite you to stop and enjoy local specialties.



Bike Special – 14 June 2026

This day is all about biking: the traffic-free Niger road offers perfect conditions to enjoy the route safely and at your own pace, surrounded by stunning Dolomite scenery. Along the route, several bike stations invite you to try new things and improve your skills. A dedicated bike parkour is available for kids, offering fun and a great introduction to riding.

The main hub is the top station of the Nova Levante cable car: workshops take place here, guided bike tours start from this point, and a live band creates a lively atmosphere throughout the day, complemented by refreshing drinks.

Whether you prefer a road bike, an e-bike or a relaxed ride with culinary stops, this day puts the bike experience front and centre.



Family Special – 20 September 2026

In September, the traffic-free day is all about families. Along the route, various stations offer games, activities and small experiences for both children and adults.

These are organised by local associations from Tires and Nova Levante, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. With no traffic and plenty of space to explore, move and enjoy time together, the Niger road becomes a relaxed experience zone in the heart of the Dolomites.



CAREZZA FAMILY SUNDAY

On both days, families can enjoy the Carezza Family Sunday: for just 45 euros, 2 adults and 2 children can use all 6 summer lifts of Carezza Dolomites without limits.
