E-bike Dolomites Highlight tour: from Gsiesertal Valley - Plätzwiese highplateau

About the event

The e-bike tour starts in St. Martin in Gsiesertal Valley and leads down the valley to Welsberg (access points along the way), then continues along the Pustertal Valley cycle path to Toblach. The route follows the old track of the disused Dolomites railway to Lake Toblacher See – one of the most scenic lakes in the Dolomites – passing the historic war cemetery and continuing to the turquoise Lake Dürrensee. Along the way, impressive panoramic views open up of the world-famous Three Peaks, the symbol of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. The route then climbs along the former military road towards the Prato Piazza high plateau at 2000 m, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks. Return via the Pustertal Valley cycle path. Compulsory use of helmets. Suitable for children aged 12 and over. Refreshment stop available or backpack provisions.
