Museion – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Bolzano is pleased to present the first institutional solo exhibition in Italy by Evelyn Taocheng Wang (*1981, Chengdu).



Working at the intersection of various media such as painting, text, installation, performance, and fashion, the Rotterdam-based artist has developed a unique visual poetics characterized by subtle humor and critical depth. By combining art historical traditions with personal memories and autofictional elements, she questions notions of authenticity while simultaneously exploring how culture is represented and embodied.
