Petali di Rosa. Italian nineteenth-century music

A journey through the great Italian melodic tradition of the 19th and 20th centuries: this symphonic concert presents renowned compositions by Ruggero Leoncavallo, Riccardo Drigo, Luigi Arditi, Nino Rota and other composers in orchestral arrangements specially created for this occasion. The programme combines a rich variety of sonorities with expressive musical depth and is based on the meticulous research and orchestration work of Marco Montovani. It is performed by the Orchestra Antiqua Estensis from Ferrara.
