South Tyrolean bread and strudel market

|

About the event

"Our Daily Bread" takes centre stage in this event showcasing bread and strudel.

Vinschger Paarlen, Schüttelbrot and South Tyrolean apple strudel. Baking products have a long tradition in Brixen. Not without reason there are around 10 bakeries alone in the old town, which surprise with their own products. On the first weekend in October everything in Brixen revolves around the traditional baked goods with regional products from South Tyrol. At the South Tyrolean Bread and Strudel Market, hearty and sweet creations can be tasted and enjoyed at the Cathedral Square.

Opening:

Friday at 10.00 a.m., at the Historical Route

With musical accompaniment.

Harvest Thanksgiving Mass:

On Sunday at 10.00 a.m. the bakers will enter the Cathedral in a solemn procession, then the Harvest Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated together with the Cathedral Choir.

However, the market stalls can already be opened on Sunday at 10.00 a.m.
