In "Gezahnt wie der Kiefer eines Alligators," Ingrid Runggaldier explores the Dolomites through world literature and travel accounts, discussing notable travelers like Josiah Gilbert, George C. Churchill, and Amelia Edwards. Runggaldier, an experienced translator, also studies languages, literature, and gender studies, with a keen interest in mountaineering and tourism history.
