About the event

This leisurely walk takes us first up a gentle hill to Sonnenburg Castle, which towers high above the valley and boasts a long history. Today, the historic building houses an exclusive luxury hotel. Nevertheless, significant parts of the original complex have been preserved – including the impressive crypt and the historic courtyard, which we will explore together.

After a short break, a varied hike along a section of the Archaeological Panorama Trail takes us back to our starting point in St. Lorenzen. Beautiful views of the Puster Valley and the surrounding mountains accompany us throughout the entire circular route.
