Wieserhütte

The hikers, the mountain lovers and the mountain bike riders are always glad to have a break in the Wieserhütte and Valle Altfossa in Maranza. The Valle Altfossa is one of the most loved hiked areas in the Gitschberg Jochtal. The sun-drenched mountain hut decorated by the soft hills, the cows in the fields enjoying the tranquillity and unspoilt nature in an authentic mountainous area remains with each and every one of us.
In the Wieserhütte haven, Simon, with his homemade Alto Adige mountain cheese and delicacies, manages to fill his hosts’ bellies. Outside, on the sunny terrace, inside in the characteristic Stube, everyone is in a good mood, and how could you be in any other mood in such a place? Numerous hiking tracks converge at the Wieserhütte and from here there is lots of variety on offer: by foot or bike, hosts can go towards the Laghi di Campolago, Cima di Campolago, Cima della Capra or Waldenjoch. The surrounding areas offer beautiful family trips as Alpine adventures.
