Cathedral Treasure Chamber of Bozen (Bolzano)

In the cathedral treasur Chamber of Bolzano valuable objects of Roman Catholic liturgy are on display.
The cathedral treasure of Bolzano (Bozen) is among the most extensive Baroque church collections in all of Tyrol. In addition to precious liturgical vestments and banners by renowned Baroque painters, it especially distinguishes itself through the exquisite worked gold articles from the 18th cen. Since November 16, 2007, the nearly one hundred selected objects on display from the Bolzano Cathedral Treasury not only provide an interesting view of the canon of Roman Catholic liturgy, they also reveal the history of the parish, paying special attention to the Cathedral Parish Church.
