St. Zeno in Pein

Built near Terenten in Val Pusteria, probably in the 12th or 13th century, in the early Romanesque style. The tower was not added until 1794/95. The Baroque paintings inside the church are by Johann Mitterwurzer.
Starting at the parish church in Terenten, the so-called "Path of Reflection of the Dolorous Maria" leads to St Zeno in Pein. Seven tree trunks depict scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary. A walking and hiking trail for all the family. A children's playground can be found behind the church.
