Tourism Museum of the Upper Puster Valley "Haus Wassermann"

The "Wasserman House" is situated on H. Wassermannstrasse, in the centre of Niederdorf/Villa Bassa village. The house, which remained the ancestral home of the von Kurz lineage in the 15th century, later came into civic possession. Between 1892 and 1977 it was the property of the Wassermann family who set up a café/pastry shop inside. The Wassermann House Tourism Museum documents the history of tourism in Hochpustertal/Alta Pusteria under the following themes: -hostelry and spa services in Niederdorf/Villa Bassa and surroundings. -early alpinism -building the railway through Pustertal/Pusteria
