Weißesbild - Chapel Maria Hilf

The Maria Hilf chapel is a simple construction that dates from 1797, presumably to give thanks to the Madonna for the victory in the battle against the French. Beside the chapel is an unusual wayside shrine "Weißes Bild", built in 1523.


The Maria Hilf chapel stands at about a ten minute walk from the centre of the town in the upper quarter of Collepietra in via Weißenbild.
