Cableway Vilpiano-Meltina/Vilpian - Mölten

The ropeway, one of the smallest in South Tyrol, has a load bearing capacity of 12 persons per cabin. In just a few minutes it leads from Vilpian (260 m) in the Adige Valley to Schlaneid near Mölten (1.026 m) at Tschögglberg. Nestled between Bolzano and Meran, Mölten is an ideal starting point to explore the Sarntal Alps and to take wonderful walks and sunbathing hikes of different lengths and degrees of difficulty. Public parking directly at the valley station. Bus stop of line 201 Bozen-Meran directly in front of the valley station. Bus stop of line 201 Meran-Bozen approx. 200 m away. Bus stop of line 202 Citybus Terlan-Andrian-Nals-Vilpian directly in front of the valley station. The train station of the line Meran-Bozen and Bozen-Meran is about ten minutes away. The Tschöggelberg-Bus starts at 10.49 as well as at 12.49 (April-October) from the mountain station to the parking lot Schermoos (starting point for numerous hikes).
