Hintnerhof organic farm enjoys an idyllic spot in pretty Gsieser Tal valley. The dual-purpose hens belonging to the 'Les Bleues' breed do not just lay excellent organic meadow eggs, but also enjoy lots of space to run around. "Our hens live in a mobile run and enjoy fresh air and sunshine every day, as well as fresh grass in summer. The difference may be found in the taste", emphasizes Christian, the farmer.

Two factors are crucial for the high quality of South Tyrolean eggs: the hens have access to a large area of land all day long with lots of nests and hen coops. The other important factor lies in the quality of the hen feed, which is of vegetable origin and does not contain any genetically modified organisms. That's why dishes made with 'Red Rooster' eggs are healthy, safe and very tasty.

From Welsberg, drive towards Gsieser Tal valely and follow the road for about 7 km. After Binta Restaurant, turn right and drive to Hintnerhof farm (follow signs). The self-service farm shop is open daily.
