The South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano/Bozen, South Tyrol, Italy, was opened on the 28th of March, 1998. In its 1,200 square meters of exhibition rooms, it documents on three floors the chalcolithic mummy "Iceman" (nicknamed "Oetzi") and the artifacts found with him. The most unique fact about the complex of archaeological finds which came to light in 1991 at the glacier's edge is the discovery of a fully-clothed, fully-equipped mummy, providing a glimpse of the clothes and technical abilities of the late Neolithic Age.

La mummia dell'Alto Adige
Tutti coloro che fanno una capatina a Bolzano dovrebbero visitare il famoso Museo della Mumia sul Similaun. Si tratta di un'attrazione di sicuro interesse per tutta la famiglia. Belle le spiegazioni anche interattive e consigliata la visita guidata. Se decidete di visitarlo in giorni di pioggia preparatevi a una lunga coda e attesa poichè luogo sovraffollato in caso di brutto tempo.
Spannendes Museum!
Habe das Museum in guter Erinnerung, es ist informativ und spannend zugleich. Lediglich das Fenster durch welches man den "Ötzi" sehen kann könnte etwas größer sein.
Esperienza culturale
Posto di sicuro molto interessante. Io ci sono stato anni fa ma questo weekend ho avuto una visita di parenti che non erano mai stati. Devo dire che mio zio è rimasto molto colpito e affascinato dal museo. A parte la mumia di Otzi si imparano e vedono tante cose storiche e penso che sia interessante scoprire come si vestivano o si attrezzavano tanto tempo fa.
Di sicuro consiglio di andarci quando non piove, perchè in caso di pioggia penso che tutti i turisti decidono di visitare il museo e si formano delle file lunghissime

Bei diesem Museum denkt man gleich an Ötzi, der in Bozen überall präsent ist. Den armen Heiter sieht man durch ein kleines Fensterchen im Museum, irgendwie fast wie einer Peep-Show :).
Das Museum gibt einen umfassenden Überblick über die Epoche rund um Ötzi, und ist auf alle Fälle einen Besuch wert. Ich empfehle den Besuch allerdings nicht bei Regenwetter, da dort das Museum hoffnungsvoll überlaufen ist, und man anstehen muss.
