844 - 100 Km dei Forti - Lusern - Description

It is the Luserna – Lusèrn - circular section of the 100 Km dei Forti trail – 100 km of Fortesses trail - .   It is a varying, fun and demanding path passing through the Zimber Lant – Cimbri land – inhibited by the little Cimbri minority language community. It is a special area full of history, culture and natural beauty.
This is a long MTB-excursion on the paths and the dirty roads of the area of Lusèrn, between wide panoramas on the valle dell’Astico, climbs and descents, passing through grazing lands and pine forests. The referent points are the Fortresses of the First World War like Forte Busa Verle and Forte Lusérn. Vezzena Hotel -Bar, Baita del Neff, Malga Millegrobbe resort and Agritur Galeno are the ideal locations for some snack or traditional meals. To do: say hi to the cows on the grazing lands while you are biking!
