850 - Tour delle Somme - Description

Beautiful and amusing tour in high-altitude, going from the mountain hut Rifugio Baita Tonda, on the top of the Martinella, to the mountain hut Stella d'Italia and down to Francolini.  No worries about climbing up. You will use the chairlifts Serrada - Martinella and Francolini - Sommo Alto. The views are guaranteed!
It is difficult to climb the heights and face the differences in altitude. It is more fun to venture through slight rides or down long descents. This is what this mtb tour offers. By using the chairlifts Serrada - Martinella and Francolini - Sommo Alto, you will easily get up the bumps of Folgaria (the "Somme") and then fully enjoy the descend to the valley. On the way you will find some of the most beautiful panoramas in Trentino, two forts of the Great War, the Forte Dosso delle Somme and the Forte Sommo Alto. They tell a 100-years old story, stop for a visit.
