863 - Ceramonte tour - Description

The route, quite challenging from the point of view of technical difficulty, it does not require a significant physical effort. Funny route to do with particular attention and clarity.
The tour winds around the mountain that overlooks the west shore of Lake Serraia and Lake Piazze and is characterized by a nice single track section to be tackled downhill, which requires good driving skills.

Directions

  • Start

    Sternigo

From the village of  Sternigo, climb along the tarmac road until you reach the recreational and sports area of Bedolpian. Here, take the dirt, level forest road to the right, signposted for 'Le Palù'. Bear left making sure you remain to the west-northwest of Monte Cime Alte. After a gentle descent and subsequent climb, you reach a crossroads: bear left and downhill until you reach a picnic area at a place called 'Le Palù'. From there, head north along a dirt road. At the bottom of a descent, the road comes to an end and you will have to follow a rather strenuous path around Monte Ceramonte. At a crossroads with a forest road, carry on climbing until you are again at 'Le Palù'. From there, a mule path takes you back to the village of Sternigo.
