Anello dell'Aia dela Pesa - Val Campelle - Description
Directions
-
Start
Località Tedon - altitude 1365m
From Località Tedon follow the summer trail that climbs up to Rifugio Caldenave (SAT trail 332), as far as the large plateau at an altitude of 1770m. Here, go to the left, crossing the small bridge of Caldenave and follow the signs to Laghetti dell'Inferno. At an altitude of 1900m, when you see a rocky crag under which the trail passes along the flat (an alternative route to get directly to the Laghetti dell'Inferno), continue uphill into the sparse larch woods. At the edge of the woods, go diagonally to the left to get to the Aia dela Pesa peak (a great vantage point). From here, go down into the hollow of the Laghetti dell'Inferno (steep slope) and continue in a north-west direction towards the Baita di Lastei. You can now freely descend into the woods (be careful to go around some rocky mounds) until you meet the flat trail that connects the Piana di Caldenave to Malga Nassere (alpine dairy). When you get to the latter, following the signs to Rifugio Carlettini, you can quickly go back down the valley to arrive not far from the starting point. -
end point
Rifugio Carlettini - altitude 1390m
