Brentonico with stroller - Castel Dosso Maggiore - Description

Simple walk around the sports center of Brentonico with a view of Vallagarina.
Simple route on a paved road in the first and last stretch but little or no traffic with a slight difference in height in the central stretch and dirt road (better to have trekking strollers or with large wheels if you are with babies) for a comfortable walk for families at the sports center of Brentonico. After the walk you can stop at pizzeria Pineta, equipped for children and just under the parking lot.
Itinerary without particular difficulties and therefore suitable for everyone, even for babies in a stroller. The whole itinerary is well exposed to the sun, with beautiful panoramic views of Vallagarina, and the ruins of the castle of Dosso Maggiore.

    Parking of the sport field of Santa Caterina (724m)

    From the parking lot of the sports field of Santa Caterina, continue along the flat paved road which then turns into a dirt road up to the ruins of the castle of Dosso Maggiore. Near the widening before the walls, leave the main road and take a slightly uphill mule track on the left that runs alongside meadows and hedges until it rejoins an asphalted road. At the crossroads, turn left downhill until you reach again a downhill crossroads on the road that leads to Festa and taking to the left, the ring closes back to the parking lot where we started.

From the ROVERETO SUD exit, follow the signs for Mori until you reach the town. After the town traffic lights turn left at the crossroads following the signs for ALTIPIANO di BRENTONICO. From Mori the village of Brentonicodista just 7 Km. At the second crossroads to enter the village after the schools take a right uphill towards Festa and then follow the signs for the sports field of S.Caterina.
