  From Madonna di Campiglio at the end of Adamello street (Pappagallo restaurant)
  
  From Pappagallo restaurant (at the end of Adamello street) catch the “Giro di Campiglio” path southbound, follow it till a fork where turn right.Go up in the wood, at first following wide bends and then walking easily till reaching “Ritorto” refuge.Turn left in a dirt street into “Val dei Cantòn”, take the path in the wood, cross the “Rio Colarin” river, go past the fork keeping left till the last rise and some rocks, arriving at Ritorto lake (you can reach the lake also catching “5 Laghi” cableway and walking through the easy route).Catch the path n° 277 southbound, reach “Malga Pozza dei Garzoni” and through different ups and downs reach the top of “Pian dei Mughi” where, at the fork of the paths, turn left an go down.Reach again the wood and with wide bends go downwards to “Malga Ritorto”. Go down southbound along a dirt street, avoiding to catch the path walked upward, keeping right and reaching “Casa Capot”.Turn left eastbound, go into the wood through an easy path towards “Panorama” area. Now, northbound, take the “Sentiero dei Siori” path towards Madonna di Campiglio.

Tips for the tour

The route towards the beautiful Ritorto lake is suitable for kids from 10-12 years old. We suggest you a break at Malga Ritorto and we recommended  to bring drinks with you: there are not places of refreshment for long stretches of the route. People are required to bring their own drinks: there are not refreshment points for long stretches of the itinerary. Considering the lenght of the route, we suggest to leave early in the morning.

Directions

self-arranged arrival
Enter Madonna di Campiglio south and follow the "Viale Dolomiti di Brenta" street up to the roundabout, before the limited traffic zone. Here take the Adamello street, go along it to the end of the street.
A small parking at the end of  the Adamello street, at the departure of the excursion, or an indoor play and display parking in Sissi square.

public transport
In summer shuttle bus from the centre of Madonna di Campiglio (Brenta Alta square) to Patascoss and little train or horse-drawn carriage from Patascoss to Ritorto refuge (from June to September).
