DBT variant stage 10: Malga Flavona - Rifugio Graffer - Description

Variant of the tenth stage of the "Dolomiti di Brenta Trek" route, from Malga Flavona to Rifugio Graffer.  
Hikers starting from Passo Grostè now have the possibility of shortening the outing and in 3 hours rapidly returning to the same pass, without covering the whole section of the DBT that overlooks Lake Tovel and traverses the area of Monte Peller.

    Malga Flavona

    From Malga Flavona you climb the pastures of Campo Flavona (2198 m) on the SAT 371 (E) path to join, in 1.20 hours, the SAT 301 (E) path that ascends from Malga Spora. Then in 1.20 hours you reach Passo Grostè on the SAT 301 (E) path with some rocky but not difficult parts and passing Sella del Turion (between Monte Turrion Alto and Basso). This is one of most interesting areas from a geological point of view because it is a plateau with karst phenomena.
