DBT variant stage 11: Agritur Malga Tuena - Rifugio Graffer - Description

 Variant of the eleventh stage of the "Dolomiti di Brenta trek" route, from Agritur Malga Tuena to Rifugio Graffer.
Those who started the hike in Madonna di Campiglio have now the possibility to go back to the starting point tank to this variant route.

    Agritur Malga Tuena

    From Malga Tuena (1740m) the variant route climbs up towards Livezza Piccola peak on the path waymarked SAT 310. Shorty after it crosses the path SAT 308 (EEA – MD) that goes around the mountain and crosses the Val Gelada valley until it reaches Bocchetta delle Palete mountain pass (2319 m). From here the variant route descends through rock gullies facilitated with ladders and metal cables and continues on along the steep flank of Corno di Denno and it crosses the Val delle Giare valley. Finally it passes the foot of Cima Pietra Grande and reaches Passo del Grostè (2442 m) and descends to Rifugio Graffer (2263 m).
