Directions

  • Start

Piazza Goethe - Torbole sul Garda

You set off from the centre of Torbole in the direction of Busatte. From the town centre, Piazza Goethe, pass Hotel Centrale, turn left into via Pontalti, a narrow street which heads uphill for a short stretch on a cobbled surface. At the first crossroads, turn left again, continuing along a regular surfaced road. After the first bend you will find directions on the left for the road to the “Belvedere” which is well worth a stop-off. Once you have got to this point, head up the short flight of steps to enjoy the fabulous view. After this short break, keep on up via Europa (a steep uphill climb). When the road levels off, keep to the right as you come into the town of Nago. Once you get to the little square, turn right into Via San Vigilio. Cycle up the gentle rise till you come to directions for Monte Baldo. At the top of the hill you will come to a capital of a column: take the side road and head downhill on a cement surface. After a hundred metres or so, you can stop off again to admire the panorama from the hill on your left. Keep on going downhill till you come to Busatte where you will find a picnic area with an adventure park and restaurant area. Stay on the Busatte road, now on an asphalt road, till you get come back to the road you came up by. From here head back down via Pontalti until you reach the departure point.
