Start
Patascoss
Reach Patascoss area, a couple of kilometers north of Madonna di Campiglio, on foot or by car.
From the centre of Madonna di Campiglio go north, passing the Pradalago cableway towards the fork for Nambino-Patascoss-Ritorto. At the fork take the road on the left leading to the Piana di Nambino in less than one kilometer, and then to Patascoss. From Patascoss an easy and flat road leads to Malga Ritorto in about half an hour.
The route, surrounded by clearings and fir woods, is shaded and so is suitable also to be followed during hot and sunny days. Just in a very slight ascent, first paved and then dirt, is suitable for strollers too. Malga Ritorto is a natural balcony on the Brenta Dolomites, a unique and suggestive scenic view.
Children enjoy the many animals they can see all around, as horses, goats and cows and the opportunity to do a carriage ride. -
