From Bedollo To Brusago - Description

This walk follows mainly level paths that used to be the ancient thoroughfare between the villages of Bedollo and Brusago.
From Centrale di Bedollo, easy paths take you across meadows and tilled fields to Lake Buse; from there, you can leisurely follow an easy walking and cycling path back to the starting place.

Directions

  • Start

    Bedollo

Upon reaching a school about 100 m after the third hairpin bend in the road that climbs from Centrale to Bedollo, turn right up a cobbled road that crosses the hamlet. Carry on along Via Amort. At the  hairpin bend 'de la cros’ (so called because of the presence of a white cross), turn right onto a dirt road and follow it for about 200 m until it reaches a fork. There, turn right onto a small road which takes you further up Valley past vegetable gardens and pets' enclosures. When you reach a place called Sine, pass a crossroads with a forest road and carry on downhill towards a tarmac road. Proceed along this small tarmac road across the countryside until you reach Lake Buse. From the lake, follow first the walking and cycling path, then Via Ronchi to return to the starting point.
