Hiking trail - Rifugio Cima D'Asta - Description

Unmissable climb on the oldest granite massif in Trentino, starting from green woods to then reach the large slabs of rock. Possibility to continue to the Zimon peak.

    From Malga Sorgazza, now a restaurant, take the forest road up to the cable car, then take path 327 to the Bualon. From here you climb more steeply arriving finally for characteristic granite paving up to the lake and then in a few minutes to the Refuge brentari (m. 2.476). From here it is possible to climb Cima d'Asta (m. 2.847 - 1 hour and 15’/ 370 m. altitude difference), highest peak of the group and exceptional panoramic point.
    For the return follow the path of the outward.

From highway 47 of the valsugana exit at the exit for Castel Ivano (Strigno) - and follow the signs for Valle del tesino. Once reached Pieve Tesino, follow the signs to Val Malene, then to Malga Sorgazza.
