A path between nature and art, made by natural elements: wood, bark, stones… surrounded by a magnificent environmental context. This easy path guides you through the discovery of the highland of Lavarone that overlooks the Centa and Valsugana Valleys. An itinerary where the environment combines with the stunning art. It is a route suitable all year round, even with snowshoes on.
The path follows the forest road which coincides with the first part of the “Sentiero del Tomazol”. From the traditional village of Lanzino, following the signs the path descents the slope and meets the forest track. It goes around the west side of Dos del Monaco and ventures into the forest area of Tomazol. It is mostly flat and leads us to the Belvedere, the panoramic point that overlooks the Centa and Valsugana Valley. The way back is inside the woods - follow the signs.

    Lavarone - Lanzino

    Il sentiero si sviluppa interamente su strada forestale e coincide con il tratto iniziale del Giro del Tomazol. Dal caratteristico abitato di Lanzino, seguiamo, facendo attenzione alle indicazioni, il sentiero che scende il versante e che si raccorda con la comoda strada sterrata che, aggirando il lato ovest del Dos del Monco, si inoltra nell'area forestale del Tomazol. E' per lo più pianeggiante e ci conduce al Belvedere, punto panoramico che si affaccia sulla valle del Centa e sull'Alta Valsugana. Il rientro si svolge interamente all'interno del bosco: seguire le indicazioni segnaletiche.

From Trento (exit Trento Sud) follow the road Fricca SS349 to reach Lavarone (Vigolo Vattaro – Carbonare – Lavarone).
Some parkings are available in Lanzino or Stengheli, or further away in Bertoldi.
