Il Sentiero dell’Acqua - The water path - Description

It is one of the mort interesting thematic paths of Alpe Cimbra, the theme is water and its use in the rural economy of the mountains. It is accessible by families and children aged over 6 years old as well. It is advised against walk this route in case of bad weather, with slimy ground and overflow of the stream.
The suggestive places that surrounds this route make it one of the most beautiful paths. Therefore it is recommended to who wants to combine a long walk with the desire to learn more about the relation between the stream and the economy activity, from fishing to the work of the mills and of the sawmills. However the focus is on the beauty of this place dominated by the steam.

    Carbonare

    From the square of Carbonare (28th April), where there is the possibility to park, the path goes into the woods and meets Cogola path. Follow the route that, going through locality Cogola, arrives to Pont dei Mirandoi. Near the bridge follow the path near stream Astico (avoid in case of overflow) and follow the creek until you get to Pont de la Spèr. On the left there is a small path that bring you back to the stream. Cross the bridge and after a bit you will get to maso Cùeli. The route ends with Mulino Cuel – Mill Cuel. You can visit it on Saturday and Sunday.
