Lower and Middle Vallesinella Falls Tour - Description

A lovely, low-altitude outing for the whole family as you discover the middle and lower Vallesinella Falls.
An enjoyable outing through the forests to discover the Vallesinella Falls. The itinerary is recommended for when weather is unstable and higher altitude itineraries are not advised, or for families with children who are looking for a hike without a lot of elevation gain. This fairly easy hike takes you on a journey to discover the lower and middle Vallesinella Falls before heading down to the lovely Malga Brenta Bassa, which is an ideal spot for a picnic in an alpine pasture.

Directions

  • Start

    Parking at Refuge Vallesinella

Head to the Cascate di Mezzo (middle falls) from the Vallesinella parking area, then continue on to the Cascate di Sotto (lower falls).
Continue along the dirt road in the direction of Malga Fratte and on to Plaza. At a certain point, this dirt road will cross the road from S. Antonio di Mavignola to Malga Brenta Bassa. Continue on to Malga Brenta Bassa and, from here, head back up to the starting point. If you would like, you can also explore the ravines (forre) following the signs you will find on site.
